Dr. Alicia Pérez-Porro is a marine biologist connecting the ocean, gender equality and scientific diplomacy for a sustainable future. She is the president of the Association of Spanish Scientists in the USA (ECUSA), president of the Network of Scientific Researchers Abroad (RAICEX, representing ECUSA), researcher associated with the Museum of Natural History (Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC, USA), and sustainability consultant for Bakery Group. She was a Women in Power Fellow 2018 and Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar 2019. She is currently studying the Global Master of Arts Program (GMAP) at Fletcher School (Tufts University) in diplomacy and international relations.
